Very bright light, not as bright as a 200 dollar magic shine but adequate for avoiding pothole at night. I am big on multi-purpose equipment and this light is basically a bright flash light with handle bar mounting hardware. The flashlight is a nice aluminum model and is waterproof. Great buy
