This boomer's got kick! The four flashing modes are all very eye-catching. I like having a bit of flexibility in my light usage. I also have a stealth PBSF, which is great- but this little guy outdoes it in nearly every category.
The knog attachment system is awesome. It's very secure around my 26.8 seatpost and will stretch much wider. It's not terribly easy to take off or put on, but it's not hard either; and the boomer attaches very securely when it's on.
With new batteries this baby's bright. I can't say how long the two AAA's will last, but it's worth changing them out for the banging wall of light this thing puts out.
The finish and quality of the Boomer leaves little to be desired... it's plastic but nothing feels cheap or brittle.
I love my bike lights; it's very important to me to be as visible as possible to drivers as nearly all of my riding is on shared use roadways. I used to hate having to put light-specific mounts on each of my bikes, but with knog's design I can quickly and easily attach the boomer to either seatpost in seconds, without having to buy or salvage an extra mount.
The button click operation of the light is also much nicer than normal... greater feedback than either the superflash or a knog frog, without being cumbersome or problematic like some cateyes or cheaper lights.

This light is great. It's weapons-grade bright, smartly designed, sexy as can be and competitively priced. I have no complaints, and I'm generally pretty hard to please.
